Retrieves the order book summary for a specific token ID. Includes bids, asks, market details, and last trade price.

Things to know

There is a batch version at /books. It has a lower request limit but covers many tokens per call, so it is cheaper per token than looping this one.

For a resolved market this returns 404 with "No orderbook exists for the requested token id". We checked markets from 4 days to about 6 months old and every one returned 404, so Polymarket keeps no book history.
